End of Standard Support for .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and 3.9
On July 1st 2019, .NET Compact Framework became a legacy platform as defined by our platform support policy. Therefore, version 2019 R3 of Rebex components is the last release that includes support for .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and 3.9 in standard packages.
Separate edition for .NET CF
From Sep 9th 2019, Rebex components will be available in two separate editions:
- Mainstream edition - covers platforms in standard support phase
- .NET Compact Framework (legacy edition) - covers only .NET CF 3.x
Free legacy edition for current users
If your support contract is active on Sep 9th 2019, you can get .NET Compact Framework binaries for free until the end of your support contract. If you are interested, contact us at sales@rebex.net.
Renewing support contracts
If you purchased your support contract before Sep 9th 2019, you will have the following renewal options:
- renew support contract for mainstream platforms (standard price) or
- switch to legacy edition (higher price).
If you want to keep both legacy and mainstream editions, please contact sales@rebex.net.
Please note that only support contracts which expired less than 12 months ago are eligible for renewal discount.
