Support for .NET 9

This release adds a new set of binaries targeting .NET 9. All .NET 9 platforms are supported:

  • Windows (x64, x86, ARM64)
  • Linux (x64, ARM32, ARM64)
  • Android (x64, ARM32, ARM64)
  • macOS (ARM64, x64)
  • iOS/iPadOS/tvOS (ARM64)

Of course, we still support earlier versions of .NET as well, including .NET Framework 3.5-4.8.1 and .NET 5-8. For more information about supported platforms, see our framework support chart.

Rebex FTP/SSL renamed to Rebex FTP

We dropped the old 'SSL' part from the name of Rebex FTP library. In 2024, referring to TLS as 'SSL' no longer made sense. Of course, Rebex FTP still supports TLS. FTP over SSL 3.0 can be enabled as well, although it's discouraged because SSL is no longer secure and has been deprecated years ago.

R6.17 available as well

For customers who have not yet upgraded to version 7 of Rebex libraries, we published the R6.17 update with important fixes and enhancements. Version R6.x will be supported until November 2025.
